Last night as I was leaving one of our favorite bars and my friend Eliza said that we're meeting for drinks tonight with Carrie and her friends... The thing is, Carrie was the first person I met in this city last year, and she's my connection to everyone I know here... But we haven't seen each other a lot because she's busy with her new boyfriend, and she's a little mad that I "stole" all her friends.
Anyway, so Eliza invited me and we were talking online about the night ahead and I realized I should offer to not come because she said she was meeting Carrie an hour before for some alone time. AKA without Illona time. That was fishy already, so I said maybe I should take a rain check, expecting her to say, "No no! Come anyway." Well she basically said I am welcome to come but shouldn't. (?????) Well, I was kind of offended and it put me in a really bad mood, but I offered to skip out so... I just hope this whole jealousy thing with Carrie gets sorted out because I hate when people make drama out of thin air. No?
